Heat Wave in Killarney
What a beautiful month May has been for all those that love the heat. The guests at Avalon have enjoyed the warm breezes off the lake and the cooler evening temperatures. We currently have a fire ban in effect so we have not been able to have our usual singsongs around the campfire in the evening.
Killarney is also proud to announce a new outdoor education centre. It is called Killarney-Shebanoning Outdoor Environmental Education Centre. Shebanoning was the original Ojibwa name of the villiage. Students are taught about the history and culture of Killarney and our aboriginal citizens.

A New Season in Killarney
The resort is up and running and ready for another great season. Looking forward to meeting our new guests who have reservaed vacation time during the next few months.
